WL and Sailplane AT
I discovered today that in France in AT with Sailplane, no wl are used at all !!, except...
the tow rope: 1500daN max
and glider weight: 750kg max
so rope is a 2G MINIMUM weaklink

Bridlelink with an overlap of 3 strands ?
Is that possible? It should be as your shearlink..
I could put the single strand on the opposite side of the release (yes I know you prefer 2 releases) with an eye at its end?

My numbers for the Bridle Links are for the TOWLINE TENSIONS at which they will blow when towing one point (pilot only). If you got 97 kilograms end to end you'd have twice that - 194 kg - in flight. Hi, Bridlelink I was trying to build my first bridlelink yesterday night and my test results wasn't the ones I should expect.. (example 6+6 = 97kg, directly tested) I observed that stitched bindings weren't enough parallel all together to distribute the tension evenly. I miss the right way to stitch...
