Zack, let me see if I understand your logic.

You had a thing and it broke needlessly.
You didn't want the thing to break needlessly.
You replaced the thing with a stronger thing.
Now the thing doesn't break needlessly.

The high G-load made it harder to for me to get my hand quickly to the release, and the glider rolled to quite a steep bank, and the loads rose much higher than I intended before I hit the handle.

The decision of when to terminate a tow should be made by the pilot, not a piece of string.

The instructional programs to assure hook-in within fifteen seconds of launch have apparently not caught up with the masses.

Let's work together and make the US Hawks the best.
Also, so the Hawks forum continues to catch on, allowing us the platform to express our HG opinions.

I've been at this game a long time and being nice isn't effective. The logic and record on this is bulletproof.

Just to put things in context...

http://www.kitestrings.org/post2801.html#p2801

The "this" being referred to in the second sentence is the strategy of always assuming you are not hooked in and always verifying that you are within several seconds of launch.

Being nice on the individual and small scale levels to nice individuals is VERY effective and it's a delight for me to work in that mode.

But this sport is - predictably and inevitably - controlled by rotten lying serial killers and every second spent treating any of them with any measure of respect and civility is a second gone from one's life forever to absolutely no positive purpose.

Great post. But I suspect it is all lost on the rabble. I used to do stuff like that but my attention span no longer accommodates it.
