What a stupid way to introduce people to and promote the sport.
Allowing them to:
- take off AND land on the wheels
- keep both hands on the basetube at all times
Using wire assistance to keep the glider from rolling, not just during takeoff, but through the ENTIRE FLIGHT.

No evidence whatsoever that they're using a standard aerotow weak link...

...to very clearly provide protection from excessive angles of attack...

...and teach the student how to properly respond to being inconvenienced.
And that two point bridle takes away a lot of the risk which is so important in attracting us to the sport.
