Tad, hope your work will make sense.Tad Eareckson wrote:- Give him:

Re: Construction - Tad's primary release
Thanks again.. I will soon finish it and will send you pics +/- vids on the ground/in the air after testing.. (actually bad winter weather) I mean as a VG cord as we can see in my pic... Yeah, I understand that. But.. Ok, I understood the misunderstanding.. I just want a VG system without going insi...

Re: Construction - Tad's primary release
I want a pulley at the low end of the left downtube to pull at a 90° angle. I don't understand this. yes you understood, not 90°, just horizontal. I still don't understand I mean as a VG cord as we can see in my pic - a thread exit at the bottom of the (false) downtube: https://farm9.staticflickr.c...

Re: Construction - Tad's primary release
Thanks for all answers that I understood. and happy new year. I want a pulley at the low end of the left downtube to pull at a 90° angle. I don't understand this. yes you understood, not 90°, just horizontal. screw is fore to aft on the top of the downtube.. I'm afraid the best idea I have is to dri...

Construction - Tad's primary release
Hi, I have got a tandem WW Falcon 3 and I am building a Tad's primary release on it with a smaller tube (better ratio). The one used for the tad 1 point barrel. here some questions: 1- I need a trim anchor more forward than the one you show on your pics (trike speed>dragonfly). Which length is bette...
Re: Releases
I find that risky too and don't understand why you don't. The guy take 5 seconds to switch releases at 15-20m AGL with eyes on its devices.. During 5 sec he has got only 1 hand on the base bar and won't be really confortable in turbulent air with a stalled tip.. Don't understand the goal either.. Y ...

Re: 4strings release
I'm hoping that it's an issue with the material you're using but I rather doubt it. I don't think so, cause I tested "my" 4strings and the direct force needed to release was the one you wrote.. except if : The loops will develop a set/memory/fold as they're flown/used - especially the loo...

Re: 4strings release
He was injured: sternum broken and some vertebral compression but no neurological issue. He is fine now..
The glider has probably nothing but will have a pro check.
For the 3strings I need the L/A ratio. I will measure it but need a suitable setup for that.
