Re: You are NEVER hooked in.

And it should be for everyone else too.
One of the best ever posts regarding hook-in check I have ever read.

Re: Releases

I know I should not enter into these release discussions but I can't look away. To make it worse... Even the the ones who get the primary figured out now have to think about a weak link, secondary release & bridle configurations. F-me-running  Someone did PM me about selling him an RMR so ...

Re: instructors and other qualified pilot fiends

Re: launching

- How many Twos would that be? - What's the difference between a club, operation, meet killing a Two and killing a Three, Four, Five? Name some fatalities in which the pilot hadn't temporarily at least reverted to sub Two performance and/or judgment. A H2 should not fly without another reputable pi...

Re: Releases

Half a month now, Dave. How many of these have you been able to get into circulation? I thought I had one sold but it has been 2 weeks and I've not seen a check in the mail. The answer would be zero. I guess I'll have to wait for the next victim of shitty equipment to increase interest. How have yo...

Re: launching

We will have people at Zirk's, Gap, Pulpit & Hyner tomorrow. There will be H2 pilots at all 4 places with at least one observer at each location. If you fly anywhere in Pa. as an H2 without an observer, you are done. Someone will clip your side wires and escort you off the property. I know this ...

Re: launching

Novice + mid-day summer conditions +15mph sustained/gusts to 25 + Falcon 195 + flying alone = WTF! Well 15-25 is about my limit so long as there are nice fat windows. No way am I doing it on a Falcon 195 at 185lbs (hook in). Do H2 pilots fly alone in California? I've never done it here in Pa. & ...
